THIS AND OTHER WORLDS
THE WORLD IS A TERRITORY SHAPED BY OUR OWN GAZE
AND BY THE LIGHT IT RECEIVES.
In the fine art photography series This and Other Worlds, I propose a rethinking of our relationship with our environment: to stop understanding the world as a simple space we inhabit, and instead assume it as a territory we manage and for which we are responsible.
Through these images from This and Other Worlds, I explore the multiplicity of realities we construct: the world shaped by our own interests and passions, the vulnerable and endangered territory, the space transformed under the revelation of light, or the one we carry inside, reconfigured by memory upon returning from a journey.
Each piece is a window into the fragility of our existence. Even when facing the image of an apparently exhausted world, these photographs seek to project a glimmer of resistance: the subtle hope of finding, building, or imagining a Plan B.

Literary World

The world changes meaning every time we look at it.
Perhaps it was never just one single thing.
